Sexual Fables offers an alternative history of Western arts and literature. Mythology, Sexuality, Religion, Politics - aren't they all the same thing really?

Everyone responds to story-telling through categories -- the Optimist, the Pessimist, the Cynic and the Agnostic.  Human nature being what it is, individuals consistently favor one of the four over the others. Perhaps there is a resemblance to the classical theory of humors, whereby Hippocrates and Galen divided human natures into Sanguine, Melancholic, Choleric and Phlegmatic (Air, Water, Fire, Earth). In the 21st digital century, we may render it as (+ - 0 1), but it shares a resemblance to the ancient Daoist notions of yang and yin, qi (ch’i) and the absence of qi...
